  • I feel so sorry for Turkey, and secular Turks . Erdogan and AKP plundered the country and decimated its democracy. Contrary to western feelings and paranoia regarding the Turkish armed forces, they were the guardian of democratic values. Since 2013 AKP and religious organizations sought out to denigrate and destroy secular officers and ranks. Unfortunately they succeeded in their forays. If Erdogan wins in this referandum, a civil war looms in the near future.
